The iPhone 16 Pro might get a camera feature that’s currently only available on the iPhone 15 Pro Max models.

The iPhone 16 lineup is expected to impress with big camera upgrades for the Pro model. Reports say it might include touch-sensitive buttons, a vertical camera setup, and possibly A18 Pro chips. Look forward to better displays, improved battery life, and other exciting features this September!

Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 lineup soon. A new report has confirmed rumors about a big camera upgrade for the iPhone 16 Pro model. Last year’s iPhone 15 Pro Max had a special tetra-prism periscope lens with 5x optical zoom and 25x digital zoom, which was only available on that model. Now, Apple is reportedly planning to bring similar camera features to both the Pro and Pro Max models with the iPhone 16 lineup.

Apple might have chosen the final suppliers for the periscope lenses used in the iPhone 16 Pro.

According to a report by DigiTimes Asia, Apple is planning to use periscope lenses in more models of the iPhone 16 lineup. To do this, they are likely to work with two main Taiwanese suppliers: Largan Precision, which supplied periscope lenses for the iPhone 15 Pro Max last year, and a new company, Genius Electronic Optical (GSEO).
